Description

NGC 247 (The Claw Galaxy) is an dwarf spiral galaxy in Sculptor Group about 11.1 Million Light Years  away in the constellation Cetus.
Despite some local light pollution, and a last quarter moon, I went with RBG @ 180 seconds under very poor seeing and threw out about half the images acquired in one night. What remained is more proof of concept but still satisfying and with the galaxy well placed for a longer run of deeper subs under the coming new moon, I hope to go a lot deeper for richer background galaxies.
